Sonia pursued a BSc in Sociology and Criminology and MSc studies in Regional and National Security at the University of the West Indies. She has a combined 32 years of experience in Government and Private Sector service and has received numerous awards for outstanding service.

Sonia is a member of the American Red Cross, an active member of her church where she leads the Women’s Ministry, and an ardent fan of Outdoor Survival Shows.
